Our main focus is to better understand how environmental influences alter epigenetic modifications and the resulting outcome on human health. With particular interests in DNA methylation and histone modification, we study how these epigenetic mechanisms impact chromatin dynamics and control gene expression. Through epigenetic research, we aim to further our understanding of disease pathophysiology and identify novel biomarkers and therapeutic targets that can improve disease diagnosis and treatment.
